Cree en el Niño

Recently I was contacted by an advertising agency in Madrid, Spain named Sra. Rushmore, they commissioned me to create an image to compete for a lottery campaign of Spain. This campaign is focused in the children, not sure how this works and if is legal in Spain for the kids to play lottery but the main idea was based in trust in your kids to choose the numbers, the image shows a kid happy to introduce the monster that lives in his closet, this is the proof! You can trust in what he say...

Just to make it clear... the Sorteo de El Niño is the special Lottery held the 6th of January in Spain. The name "El Niño" refers to the Christian Epiphany and baby Jesus (not that it really has any religious significance, or anything to do with kids playing lotto, is just easier for a catholic country to remember the damn date). You see, the 2 big lottery events every year are Christmas (3 million euros for first prize) and El Niño (around 2 million euros for first prize).

  10. This project as farest I know is not related at all with the lottery event you are mentioning, I know in some hispanic countries the term "El Niño" certainly refers in the catholic and christian religions to baby Jesus but I was hired to create this image for a campaign focused in trust the judgement of your kids for playing lottery, as I told, not sure how the rules are here and how much the children are involved in lottery but the message is not related with Jesus or religious event at all, why I would do a kid on the top of a monster for that kind of event?
